Mazzarini & Co.
A new name (and a manifesto) for a new chapter
13 years after its inception, BHDM Design had outgrown its acronymic beginnings. I worked with the team on naming and brand architecture to ensure its new moniker and strategic structure reflected their evolution while honoring their roots. Now named after design principal Dan Mazzarini and the team he leads, Mazzarini & Co. continues to do what it does best: creating narrative-driven, hospitality-forward, exuberant spaces around the globe.
My favorite part of this project? Admiring all the beautiful photos of the stunning spaces the team has designed over the years, for brands like Google, Ralph Lauren, and Waldorf-Astoria. My second favorite part? Writing the brand manifesto that crystallized this new chapter in the Mazzarini & Co. story.
Design is transformation.
Between before and after is the spark:
The electric inspiration that illuminates possibility.
What’s now and what’s next?
We look beyond four walls to understand the lives that unfold within them.
Start with substance. Weave in style.
Add an element of surprise. Do it all with soul.
We bring the zing wherever we go,
Turning a room into a statement.
A hotel into a haven, a house into a home.
Through good design, we bring potential to life.
What’s imagined becomes real—
And even better than you imagined.
We are alchemists who craft, create, and enliven spaces
For dreaming, daring, and doing. A lighter sense of being.
Because design is about transformation.
And great design changes everything.
